DEEP Institute offers a unique facility for subsea testing and training. Our DEEP Campus is a fresh-water facility that’s 80m deep and 600m long. The secure 50-acre site is complete with test equipment, accommodation, engineering facilities and shore support services.
We enable year-round trials, training, and testing to push the boundaries of underwater technology and human performance.
We’re developing a comprehensive training program for habitat diving, so people can confidently dive from DEEP’s subsea habitats. Future dive programs may also include a broader range of training from recreational to saturation.
The infrastructure and shoreside facilities at DEEP Campus are perfect for testing subsea equipment. It’s also ideal for training the people who will use that equipment.
DEEP Campus offers a secure and fully equipped environment for organizations to train their staff to dive and operate safely underwater. For example, military, police or marine industry operators.
DEEP Campus has a private lake, perfect for filming water scenes for TV or movies. It features a range of on-water and shoreside facilities, and accommodation and catering on site.
Our facility offers a controlled body of clear, high-quality water, infrastructure for lifting and access to the water, complete privacy, and the ability to stay on site for extended periods.
